Review by Gill-Marie Stewart
Set over one weekend at a music festival, this is the story of two best friends who tell each other everything – or do they?
I was keen to read this book and glad I did. It’s well-written, great characters, and Non Pratt portrays the setting vividly and realistically. The relationship issues, the problems, the highs are all there.
Really my only complaint is that the voices of the 2 main characters, Ruby and Kaz, were at times too similar and the point-of-view switch happened too often. This meant I frequently had to look up to the section heading to see who was actually recounting the story, because I couldn’t tell them apart.
Despite that minor quibble, this is a great read and well deserving of 4 piranhas.
