You’re probably wondering exactly what Paisley Piranha is, aren’t you? I would be, if it were me sitting there reading. So just picture me, here at my kitchen table with my laptop, wracking my brains to figure out how to explain… There are four of us Piranhas: Pia Fenton, Gill-Marie Stewart, Katy Haye and Claire Watts. Books are our passion. We all write YA fiction and we want to tell YOU about the YA books we love. Why Paisley Piranha? It’s a weird mix, isn’t it? Well, piranhas are dangerous and exotic and although I wouldn’t want to meet a real one, there’s something cute about all that tiny ferocity. And paisley? The thing about paisley is you can take it loads of different ways: think of Victorian shawls, 1960s hippy prints, country house soft furnishing, the bandana around a biker’s head… So I suppose what you can expect from Paisley Piranha is just about anything, anywhere your imagination can take you…
